Participants will learn practical techniques in detail about home bleaching, power bleaching, internal bleaching, over the counter bleaching treatments, the current controversies in bleaching teeth, the current legal situation. Learn about Microabrasion; indications and advantages. The course will demonstrate how bleaching treatments can be incorporated into simple aesthetic dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry.
The theory will be followed by a full day of hands-on practice in all types of dental bleaching.
after the completion of the course participants will be eligible for Gold Membership of the BDBS.
Over the two days you will earn 12 hours of CPD.
The course is held in Hampstead, London NW3 2LL.

One Day Course in Tooth Bleaching
This one day course is specifically designed for Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists. The day consists of a morning of theory, covering the practical techniques of Home Bleaching and Power Bleaching, as well as the current legal situation, and the importance of working to a prescription from the referring dentist.
The theory is followed by an afternoon of hands–on training of power whiting and home bleaching, including taking dental impressions and an introduction to clinical photography.
By the end of the course the delegates should
· Have the knowledge and an understanding of dental bleaching
· Be able to answer patients questions and concerns with regards to dental bleaching
· Be able to take dental impressions
· Be able to provide instruction and guide patients confidently through the Home Bleaching procedures.
· Be able to carry out confidently In-surgery bleaching procedures
· Be able to take good photographs as a record of treatment carried out
· Be aware of the legal aspects regarding bleaching

VIII Event of Dental Bleaching
Dear Colleagues: The Universitary Valenciana Association of Dental Bleaching has given me the honour to be the President of the VIII event of Dental Bleaching jointly with the First International Meeting of Dental Bleaching. I would like to invite all professionals and students of Dentistry with interest in the area of dental bleaching to join us in this event. We would like to invite all national and international attendees to come and understand what Dental Bleaching is today.
We intend to give practical and actual information to the professional dentist who is interested in a variety of new techniques and are better prepared for the growing demand of the patients seeking this procedure.
Our first speaker, Dr. Linda Greenwall from London will speak about the latest technologies of dental bleaching, followed by Dr. Carlos Oteo and Dr. José Amengual who will partake in a debate on the various treatments and the attendees will have a chance to vote on these various ideas to achieve the most coherent conclusion.
This event will take place at the Auditorium of the Dentistry Faculty of Universidad Complutense of Madrid on March Saturday 12, 2011.
